(Projected) 2012 Texas Rangers’ rotationWednesday is the deadline to sign Yu Darvish. If all goes well, this is what the Rangers’ rotation will look like: Colby Lewis Yu Darvish Derek HollandNeftali FelizMatt Harrison or Alexi Ogando. The fifth starter is a tricky one. Both Harrison and Ogando were studs last season, but fizzled out during the latter half of the regular season. Given his repertoire and ground ball style of pitching, I would assume Dirty Harry would take the fifth spot. Ogando says he’s prepping to be a starter, but would obviously make a very welcomed addition to a restructured bullpen. All this, of course, hinges on what happens with Darvish.Should he not sign, (doubt he won’t, but you never know) a whole can of worms opens up. Sign Prince Fielder, Roy Oswalt? Trade Harrison or Ogando? The baseball off season is an exciting one.One thing is for sure—-Pitchers and Catchers report Feb.22, and I can’t wait.

Wednesday is the deadline to sign Yu Darvish. If all goes well, this is what the Rangers’ rotation will look like:

Colby Lewis
Yu Darvish
Derek Holland
Neftali Feliz
Matt Harrison or Alexi Ogando.

The baseball off season is an exciting one.

One thing is for sure—-Pitchers and Catchers report Feb.22, and I can’t wait.

House Kills SOPA | Examiner

infoneer-pulse:

In a surprise move today, Representative Eric Cantor(R-VA) announced that he will stop all action on SOPA, effectively killing the bill. This move was most likely due to several things. One of those things is that SOPA and PIPA met huge online protest against the bills. Another reason would be that the White House threatened to veto the bill if it had passed. However, it isn’t quite time yet to celebrate, as PIPA(the Senate’s version of SOPA) is still up for consideration.
